[MHN reporter Lee Jisook / translated by Jung Halim] Actress Jeon Mido appears on the pictorial for the magazine 'Esquire'. The photo shoot for Esquire's 2020 June edition had her wear mostly white to show a more minimalistic style.
Jeon Mido discussed the concert sequence from 'Hospital Playlist' in an interview with 'Esquire Korea'. She said that "they filmed us really playing he instruments in the band concert", and that she "practiced playing instruments for the sequence since last summer".
About the five collegues at Yulje Hospital, she said, "We even created a name for the band, 'Mido and the Parasol'", and that "after filming for four days, we spent one day getting lessons, another recording, and the next on performing, so we basically try to get together as much as we can." Jeon Mido added that her close relationship with the actors is "revealed in the acting 'chemistry'".
She also reacted to her sudden rapid rise in popularity, saying "I turned my Instagram account to private, and was surprised when I got over 70 thousand new followers after it became public again."
Jeon Mido plays Chae Song-hwa, an associate professor of neurosurgery on tvN's 'Hospital Playlist'. More photos can be seen in the June edition of 'Esquire Korea'.
